A Deep Insight About International Law

These days with the world having shrunk into a small global village it is important to remember that each and every country has strictly and well formulated international laws. International law is a body of the law, regulations, and some of the accepted practices through which the different nations around the globe can interact with each other as well as with the citizens of their countries as well as the citizens of the other countries.

The International law can be divided into two basic classifications of the public international law and the private international law, however it is important to consider the fact that the two of them tend to overlap with each other very often. Public international law is a branch of the international law that deals with the relationships between the different nations or between the nation and the persons from the another country whereas on the other hand the private international law generally deals with the individual concerns like the civil or the human rights however it is important to note that this deals with not only between a Government and the citizens of its own country further it also deals with the fact of how the citizens are treated by the other nations.

The international law is developed and agreed upon by those people that make up the international system; however it is important to note that not every nation state is a member or has a part in the process. Majority of the nations need to comply and adhere to the international law however this seems to appear questionable considering the number of the human rights violations that are taking in place all around the world.

However it is important to note that the international community has taken a number of efforts to hold all the nations to the International law, however it does not seem to be feasible. It is important to note that there must be pressure given so as to ensure the compliance, however it is important to note that the international community is against the usage of force except in the extra ordinary circumstances.

There are a number of cultural issues that play a vital part in the acceptance and even in the compliance of the international law. There are a number of nations that have a theocratic, religious, government rather than a secular one to the tenets of their faith than the man mad law. It is important to remember that what is viewed by the most of the world as a human right violation according to the international law it may not viewed as any of the unacceptable actions or punishments which have been prescribed by the religion. This is indeed a very sensitive situation.

The United Nations is one of the most widely recognized of all the international institutions. It is the responsibility of U.N to establish and protect peace and co-operation between the nations and also ensure that the people are treated humanely by their own as well as the other governments and the groups.
